I changed my rear diff fluid tonight in the driveway. A 3/8" ratchet does fit directly onto the fill plug bolt without the need for an extension, but I found routing the pump hose through the access hole in the rear subframe made pumping the fluid easier. I used Amsoil but Mobil 1 I would use as well. At 100k I will do them again and then again at 175k and then it'll ride til dead. If after one year of having the haldex serviced and you only have 40K, then you should change the haldex oil.
