Thanks in advance. My Mechanic and I have Venza's, Both our cars had blown rear-axle seals due to a rusted breather valve... when the valve is rusted or clogged the seals blow to protect the axle. I changed both seals and a new breather valve. Cost about 80$ to replace the 3 parts and 1 hour labor.So I had an axle seal leak (front passenger) back in April, and took the Jeep in to the dealership and they changed out a new seal. Only a month goes by and I found the same seal began leaking again. I know this is some crazy bad luck, but does anyone know if there are possible reasons behind this leak, other than that the dealership did a poor job?

Axle seals are very easy and cheap as long as a bad seal hasn't worn a grove into the axle itself. If it has and the grove is not substantial, you can carefully take it out with some emory cloth.
