So after finishing up installing a Howell TBI install. I have had ignition issues ever since. This is on a 82 cj7 California. After looking into the ecm and main wiring harness. It seems the PO already performed a nutter bypass on this jeep. So I really didn't do anything with the ignition wiring.Howell TBI installed and it won't fire up! I drained the coolant, disconected the battery and when I was done installing the new blower motor I put everything back together again.I don't have the Howell system but i can offer this. I believe 99% of all EFI setups are modeled of off GM sensors. Since the Howell uses a GM TBI unit, i'd be willing to bet that the rest of the sensors are GM.
