Hi, my name is***** most likely problem is a faulty heater valve. The car uses a dual heater valve to allow the driver and the passenger to adjust for different temperatures. Most likely the passenger side of the heater valve is stuck. The valve will need to be removed and checked for flow through the valve.

I have a 2014 Latitude 4x4 6cyl and I have heat blowing on drivers side but none on passenger side. I've found a ton of info on Grand Cherokees and blend door gears and actuators but nothing on KL.Driver's side heats up as expected within about 5 min in cold weather. I noticed this morning (27 degrees out) that the passenger side never really warmed at all. Left vents hot, right cold. Climate control was on manual at 72, synced. I moved the passenger side up to high and within a few min it was warm, but nothing like the driver's side.1. Just hoping to get a little insight on what the problem is before i tear the dash apart to replace the blend door motor. I have dual climate control and the passenger side only blows cold air no matter the temperature settings and if it is floor, defrost, or any other settings. Most likely the door that diverts air between the driver and passenger sides is not functioning properly. However, it's not impossible the issue could also be due to a low charge in the A/C system. Definitely take your Avalon to the dealer or private mechanic and have them check out the A/C system ...

Flush for a minute or two then switch it to the bottom heater core tube and flush it the other way. I notice this white particle came out of the heater core as i flush it.
