The seal is on the outside, just a press fit.Drain the oil , pull the shaft, pull the seal, install new one. Deansouty500.Remove the 2 nuts holding tube to mounting point. Slide the tube out. Disassemble the unit. Replace the seal and reassemble. When putting the tube back on you'll have to pry the differential down to get the the tube back in.
