Specs are pretty similar to the DC Engineering unit, so I'm thinking that the crank/alternator drive ratio must be more like 1:3.5, or even higher.Since I can't do my alternator replacement thread just yet (since my alt wont work and I am working on a fix) I figure it would be wise to cover a more broad subject, the electrical system on the FJ. With a few tools and about an hour you can swap it out yourself. I have found one such instruction at instructable website.You can have them resurfaced/turned when you replace your pads ($10-$20 per rotor around here). Replacing rotors is a better option. But, the FJ rotors are plenty thick to handle being resurfaced at least once.
