They definitely respond well to a nice smooth swing. The weighting of the shafts are different as well. The KBS are more counter balanced and have a lighter overall feel than the X100, even at the same swingweight. This takes a little getting used to, but after a round or two, it's not really an issue.a little late but FWIW - CT Lite and DG 105 tour issue will feel completely different. I'm a longtime PX player and hit down on the ball a lot with a 91-93 mph 7 iron swing and have had the best results with PX 6.5 but hit the KBS Tour 130X shaft in the simulator and got pretty similar numbers with better feel.PX 6.0 will launch lower than KBS Tour but higher than S300. For me 6.5 handles fast transition, spins less, but launches higher than x100..but it’s marginally. Ctaper was higher than x100 or project x.The Recoil 95, 110 and 125 are mid-low launch. To go low like DG S300 or X100 you will have to get into the Prototype. versions only available thru authorized TSPX dealers. I have found the Recoil 808 to be a good hybrid shaft. As for flight, X100s launch lower but spin a little more than the c-tapers from flightscope testing I did with the same heads most likely due to the softer tip section. I was able to easily load the shaft but distance wise, I was shorter with the X100s.The modus 105 s is firmer in the mid section and tip of the shaft than dynamic gold 105 R.
