Not to argue, but when I was shopping for a radiator for the 69, I was told that the 3 row radiator will cool my 393 just fine and that going to aluminum or the 4 row would be overkill. Now, I am a believer in overkill, but I went with the 3 row for a little over $200.Total surface area of the tubes is a key factor. Lots of folks are running two rows of 1" or 1-1/4" tubes as their core. Two rows of 1" or 1-1/4" tubes may have more cooling area than three rows made up of smaller size tubes.
