The model 10 started production in 1899 as the model "38 Military $ Police", and when S&W began assigning model numbers to their guns in 1957-58 it became the model 10.Age of S&W .38 special CTG 3,433 3.4K Can you please tell me the age and maybe some history of my .38 special CTG serial # on butt of gun and cylinder is 604398. it is a 6 shot 5 inch barrel.
